As she walked down the aisle to finally marry her best friend, it was evident that her long-felt dreams were finally coming true. After years of seating for the “right one,” on April 16 Heather and Sam committed themselves to each other at Pamlico Jacks in Nags Head, North Carolina. Featuring some amazing food and some incredibly well planned out moments, the evening went splendidly. Personally, my favorite moment came during the garter toss, when Sam, without looking, accidentally fired the garter right to his son, who looked just about as bewildered as he could. Now, though this couple’s lives externally may just change very much, this new beginning in their lives will no doubt be the beginning of a fabulous journey!
Here is something I’d never heard of before! Heather and Sam had a box which holds letters they’ve written one another. In the next five years, if they run into hard times, they can open the box and remember why they started this marriage things in the first place. And if after five years no times have happened, they can open it together and rejoice at how far they’ve come.
They’re quiet moments just before the wedding began.
I don’t think I could ever come up with a better way to introduce the baby in his little tux.
This was taken the MOMENT Sam saw Heather for the first time.
One of my favorite things to capture. The Father just moments after giving away his daughter. I always wonder what he’s thinking.
“Oh shoot! Where did I put the rings?”
Nope. She fell.
“Okay guys. Now throw her up in the air.” “WHAT?!”
And last but not least, the dip.
Thanks for a great day Sam and Heather! It was a blast working with you two!
