On Sunday I got to photograph a TRULY adorable couple that I have taken photos of in the past. Actually they are some of my favorite sunset images that I’ve EVER captured and you can find them here.
Grace and Josh though… Where to begin with these two? Just a pair of… goofs! And not the bad kind! They are the BEST kind! You can expect them at any moment to break out into joking on each other, as neither person seems to have any pride when it comes to dealing with the other! Further, I don’t know if she does this a lot, but I’ve noticed that both times I’ve photographed them, Grace has done this thing where she krunkles her nose up after watching Josh do… well anything!
They are definitely on my top 10 couples to emulate and I am extremely interested to continue watching their relationship blossom! They just really like each other and it’s so overwhelmingly evident! And they were kind enough to allow me to photograph them this week at Regent University in Virginia Beach near the Founders Inn and around other places on campus!
Going into this, we had a vision. We had a dream of creating the ultimate Pinterest photoshoot, with snow falling and the couple snuggled up in a blanket together with coffee mugs and maybe some Christmas lights to boot! Unfortunately though, the snow we were there to capture had to a large part melted by the time we began getting the photos done… so what you see here is my attempt to escalate the fading magic of the wintery wonderland that existed two hours before we began shooting. =] Either way though, even if there had been NO snow on the ground, I STILL would have thoroughly enjoyed spending more time with this eccentric couple and hope to do so more in the future.
Here are a few of the photos we got today
I can always count on Ethan to be willing to smush his girl.
From the first time I photographed these two goobers!
Due to the extremely great response they got from the following photo…
…Grace and Josh came back for serious face ROUND #2!
Yup. Here come the blanket photos!
Apparently this is the symbol for Young Life. Who knew?!
