Not yet fall but no longer truly summer, the air almost came to the perfect temperature. Warm, even light enveloped the woods behind the hay barn. Kendall looked fantastic and the scene was set. Even at the moment we began, everything about what we were doing went splendidly. From the hilarious family members Kendall brought along to the incredible way she fell into poses even before I could instruct her on what to do! Her beaming, photogenic personality created an environment that could only yield stunning images. The entire experience in total could be described quite simply as incredible.
At the end of it all, Kendall’s aunt asked if they could see just ONE picture from the day. I loved a good 80% of them so sure, why not?! I don’t usually show images from the camera because I haven’t edited but in this case I really didn’t mind. So I’m scrolling through and after looking through a few of them… I stopped. I tilted the camera towards Kendall and her family and, Kendall’s reaction was perfect: “That’s ME?!” I’m happy to report to Kendall that yes, you really do look this majestic.
My instruction: “Now just open your mouth SLIGHTLY.” Her response: A weird look. Her later response when seeing the image: “IS THAT ME?!”
At this point I’d like to give a HUGE shoutout to Kendall’s family who made this session SO MUCH FUN.
Kendall, hold onto that light you have and you will most definitely do something extraordinary with your life. In just knowing you for a little over an hour, I was extremely impressed. Good luck out there.
