I met Caleb in 2012 when I first moved to Virginia. I was the new guy at summer camp and Caleb was in the kitchen. (To be honest, and I’m not sure I’ve ever even told him this, I actually thought he was way too cool of a person for me to hang out with.) =) Then, years later I was there when Caleb and Emily first met at one of those trampoline bounce places (Sky High I believe!). Now, it’s my absolute honor to watch this incredible couple take the next steps in their romantic journey, and I’m so proud that I got to photograph his wedding as I’m about to move away. As for who this couple is, I think the best illustration came from Caleb himself. During every client meeting, I always love to ask couples to pick a food/flavor to describe their relationship. When I asked Caleb, I think he gave one of the best answers I’ve ever heard: a Chick-Fil-A sandwich. While on the surface this may seem like a strange response, to Caleb, the relationship he shares with Emily is one of pure joy and understanding. It’s something that if you’ve never had before, you just can’t understand. Once you have CFA though, there’s no going back. Then, as he so eloquently put it, when you add marriage on top of an already awesome union, it’s like adding Chick-Fil-A’s signature sauce. Caleb and Emily’s love is built on laughter, care, and unshakable admiration. These two are great as individuals, and they’re great as a team. Love you both!
