Andrew: “So… Should I say it NOW?!”
Rachel: “Um… maybe? Or… maybe not?”
Andrew: “Okay… You sure?”
Rachel: “Well, if you do, I’ll probably cry.”
Sitting on the hallway floor, Andrew thought for a few moments and considered the situation. ‘Was this the time? We’ve talked about this, and I’m was PRETTY sure this is a good time! I mean… she asked me when it would happen! But, am I ready for marriage?! We’ve had only been dating for ______. Is it too soon?’
Somehow, it just felt, right. So, mustering his courage, he uttered the words he’d been considering for so long: “I love you.”
Rachel started crying. “I love you, too.”
Of all the relationships in the world, Rachel and Andrew’s can most certainly be placed in the most organized and uniquely constructed. Starting off as mere friends, they spent many long walks just enjoying the other’s company. After doing this for a while, they eventually began DISCUSSING if they wanted to date, a conversation they carried on for many months. As neither had ever dated before, they were both hesitant to give away their “single” status to just anyone. But inevitably, after Andrew flirted his way into Rachel’s heart, she finally agreed to be his girlfriend.
From there their story continued as you would expect, continuing to grow in love for one another until they felt confidently ready to take the next step. And so, after be given a deadline for proposal, Andrew asked his now fiancé to marry him.
In honor of the many walks that got them to where they are.
I don’t think I’ve ever worked with a couple that could hold a kiss as long as these two!
Thank you Andrew and Rachel! You have a beautiful relationship which I know will translate into a wonderful marriage! I can confidently say that you two bring a passion towards each other that you just don’t see in every relationship, and it’s a blast to work with. Keep going on walks, and never lose your love of the little things. See you around friends.
